Finally I’ve found a company that puts some mad science into audio equipment design. I just love the way these racks are designed, must be the big VU meters, glowing green eyes and Bakelite knobs. I’m honestly drooling a bit looking at and reading about these contraptions.

Unfortunately looking at (and drooling) is all I can afford with these products, they’re quite expensive. On the other hand, they pack a bunch of features and use high quality components so they’re probably worth every penny.
You can buy Shadow Hills Industries products (and read all about what they actually do) @ Vintage King Audio (USA) and @ Studio Economik (Canada)
If you’ve used or own Shadow Hills gear I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Jeez…. That is some MIGHTY impressive gear. I’m generally not one to get into gear for gear’s sake, but even the aesthetic quality of these boxes make you wanna start grabbing the dials. Did that sound vaguely sexual? Sorry.
I know right!?
Sean was impressed with them too. http://www.keyofgrey.com/?p=2912
We have the GAMA 8 and it is effing perfect. The best description of the aesthetic I have seen is that it is going for the vision of the future tech people had in the 30s.
