Firewire SUCKS!!
Thursday, March 5th, 2009It’s so frustrating that the best option for low latency and high I/O is firewire. Sure it’s better than USB, but that’s not saying much, it still sucks! The new Macs don’t have firewire anymore, maybe that actually is a smart move.
I was extremely careful about choosing components for my computer. Mostly it’s a huge improvement over what I was dealing with before. However, I’ve had a ton of frustration because of Firewire. Getting the computer to work flawlessly with Pro Tools has been NOT FUN. (more…)
