The Kjaerhus Classic series are a set of free plugins that are simple and very usable. They are some of my favorite plugins for a few reasons, they are easy to use, have low cpu usage, and while they aren’t the cleanest, they sound very cool.
I often use the Classic Compressor on kick samples and bass, the Delay goes well with synths and I often use the Master Limiter before posting a song online.

It is a shame Kjearhus seemed to run into problems as an audio company. I am not sure what the full story is but the website has been down for a long time now. The MPL-1 limiter was a great piece of software.
Quite sad really.
