Nine Inch Nails 'Survivalism' multitrack released for Garageband

One of the hardest things to find is multi-track sessions of hit songs. Thats why I love NIN for showing the fans some love and releasing their songs ready to be remixed. On their previous album, they released The Hand That Feeds, and Only in various formats for fans to remix. The best remixes made it onto the remix CDs as part of a contest. This time around Trent Reznor has decided to release every song on Year Zero this way, and surely there will be some sort of contest to go along with it. The first release is Survivalism, and while its not an amazing song, it is interesting to see a little bit into what is under all that compression. ;)

Survivalism Mulititrack session in Garageband Aiff can be downloaded from yearzero.nin.com. If you want to take advantage of this and you don’t have a Mac, don’t worry because these are all 16 / 44.1 kHz .AIFF files that can be easily imported into ProTools, and I’m sure you can easily find a converter program to convert these into .WAV if you want as well.
